REVIVERITE™

FlexRite™ flooring products contain 100% ReviveRite™ inside.

FlexRite™ flooring products are manufactured by New Rubber Technologies using a unique patented devulcanization process. 100% post-consumer and post-industrial polymers are recycled in an environmentally friendly way in our vertically integrated facilities. The ReviveRite™ process uses food and medical grade additives to restore the original technical capabilities of various post-use polymers without the harmful side effects of foreign rubber reclaiming process. Our products contain no rubber reclaim, phthalates or flexible PVC. In most cases we produce a higher quality compound than products made from virgin polymers.

ReviveRite™ has the highest polymer content in the industry and no filler, which means:

  • Lightweight for easy cleaning
  • Flexible for comfort
  • Resilient for rebound and longer life
  • High co-efficient of friction for no-slip and easy grip
  • High abrasion resistance for better wear
  • UV resistance for color fastness
  • Low porosity to stand up to wet and harsh environments, including grease/oil resistance
  • Zero phthalates or flexible PVC means no exposure to health risks
  • Zero rubber reclaim means no associated odor or chemical residue

Why is ReviveRite™ devulcanized rubber superior to "reclaimed" rubber?

FROM CUSTOMERS' PERSPECTIVE:

  • If it's not ReviveRite™, you'll notice an unpleasant odor. "Reclaimed" rubber is identifiable by its unique odor, induced by the chemicals and very high temperatures used in its manufacturing process.
  • If it's not ReviveRite™, it won't last as long. For "reclaimed" rubber, the same process that produces the unpleasant smell degrades the quality and longevity of the product. Rub your thumbnail against a "reclaimed" mat and you will notice it lacks abrasion resistance and will wear prematurely.

FROM AN ENVIRONMENTAL PERSPECTIVE:

  • If it's not ReviveRite™, it's not environmentally conscious. "Reclaimed" rubber is derived from a recycling process that is illegal in North America and Europe. That process uses extremely high heat and pressure in conjunction with very caustic chemicals. As a result, significant greenhouse gases and chemical effluents are emitted as by-products. That process is predominantly utilized in China and India.

FROM A TECHNICAL PERSPECTIVE:

  • If it's not ReviveRite™, the carbon-carbon backbone has been irreparably damaged. In the case of mats and tiles, this means the material is less like what makes rubber...actually rubber. The technical consumer understands that the rubber reclaim process results in a multitude of inferior mechanical properties as compared to material from the devulcanization process used to produce ReviveRite™.

IF IT DOESN'T SMELL RITE, IT'S NOT REVIVRITE™… AND IT WON'T WORK RITE.
